Greetings, spring in full swing! It’s gorgeous weather right now and set to be sunny all week. Just a keep post to say, I’m delighted to be doing this facilitation workshop with The Poetry Society on 9th June.
Join prize-winning poet and founder of Hive Young Writers Network Vicky Morris for a workshop on facilitating poetry. Through exercises and discussion, you’ll look at some of the nuts and bolts of kickstarting beginner poets on their writing journey. Build your educator’s toolkit with fun wordplay exercises, ways to mine a poem’s techniques and other devices to incorporate into your teaching. Leave with tips and tricks to consider how you can impart foundational skills in poetry that demystify, spark and inspire.
Open to poets at the beginning of their facilitation journey interested in leading poetry workshops with adults and young adults.
