2004 - May 2004 Designing and presenting a key stage 4 art
programme, for schools, in the area of digital imaging. I
created a 6 week programme for an area of Key Stage 4 art,
in partnership with Sheffield Arts Education. My involvement
includes presenting the possibilities to school teachers and
offer support and opinion within this area, ongoing into spring

2004 10 week OCN level 3 in Photography
A course using SLR and digital cameras, in location and studio work. The students
created a portfolio of work by darkroom printing from their own B&W photos
and through digital editing session.

I was hired on a freelance basis by KMP (Kelvin Media Productions) in Sheffield,
along with one other tutor, to promote and encourage KMP as a positive community
organisation and educational facility, through an introduction into digital
imaging over a period of 4 weekly, in 2-hourly sessions.

Learning Fund.
Site Gallery and NIACE employed me to develop and deliver a program of workshops
and courses aimed at selected groups from the local community, who have traditionally
been marginalized from involvement and education in the arts. I ran 6 to 8
week courses with groups from the Somali Community Media Project,
the Lai Yin Association, and the Women’s Housing Association,
some of which culminated in an OCN certificate.
